Featured Theme
This year’s DPP Event will focus on the policies that enable the successful implementation of Digital Product Passports.
Featured Project
The featured project for 2025 is W2W project. W2W focuses on transformative wood waste valorisation, aiming to move towards a circular economy where we extend the life of wood-based materials, keeping them out of landfills and incineration facilities.
Overview
Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a digital record that includes comprehensive data about a product’s lifecycle – e.g. materials, manufacturing, sustainability, etc.- mandated by EU regulations. The DPP enables better resource management, promotes reuse and recycling, and helps businesses and consumers make informed choices towards a more sustainable circular economy.
The Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), through the I-SENSE Group’s Division of Circular Economy, launched a dedicated event series on Digital Product Passport and Tracing. These events provide a platform for exchanging ideas, identifying challenges for DPP implementation and showcasing innovations that can drive a harmonized approach across Europe.
