The second edition of the DPP event series, themed “Digital Product Passport & Traceability: Enabling Sustainability through Effective Policy” will take place on 27 November 2025. The event will be held in a hybrid format, welcoming participants in person at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), Place du Congrès 1, 1000 Brussels, as well as online.
This milestone event is part of an ongoing series organized by the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS) together with the Division of Circular Economy & Tracing of the I-SENSE Group. For this year, the event is organised in collaboration with CEPS. The series brings together stakeholders from diverse sectors to exchange insights, address challenges, and highlight the critical role of Digital Product Passports (DPPs) in advancing circular economy practices and driving progress towards climate neutrality.
In addition to fruitful discussions, the event will feature a series of interactive workshops fostering dialogue between policymakers, researchers, and industry representatives. In particular, three workshops will take place, exploring key governance challenges surrounding DPP data management, data models, interoperability and policy compliance and also DPP policies that affect the economics of green solutions.
This year’s edition, will spotlight the W2W Project, an initiative dedicated to the transformative valorisation of wood waste. W2W promotes a circular economy by extending the lifecycle of wood-based materials and diverting them from landfills and incineration facilities.
